It's time to ‘Move more’

September 22 was National Fitness Day and we used the opportunity to launch a new video, which highlights the role physical activity plays in helping us lead healthier lifestyles – including reducing our risk of cancer.

We know that finding time to be active can be hard, especially as so many of us have sedentary jobs. In fact, on average we sit for around 12 hours a day! This new video explains why our Cancer Prevention Recommendation to ‘Move more’ is so important.

Many people find that having a goal to work towards can be a great inspiration to get them moving more, so why not check our range of events? We offer everything from walks, bike rides and marathons so you can get fit AND help to prevent cancer at the same time. Win-win!
