These days we are inundated with a constant stream of over-stimulating information about events going on around the world, as well as in our own towns. Yet much of that information is negative and gossipy, triggering a cascade of emotions to swell every time we are exposed. It polarizes and creates tension between people. What is this doing to our psyches? What does having access to all this information do to our state of mind, our bodies and our hearts? Is it making us better humans, or doing more damage than good?

 

Danya will discuss the physiological response in our bodies to over-stimulation and stress, and offer some suggestions. Admission is free, but space is limited. Please RSVP.
