WordGirls Launching
for Christian Women Serious about Publishing

(Austin, TX August 12, 2014) Writers are looking for new ways to get their feet in the door with publishers. The old ways aren’t as effective. Reaching publishing goals is getting harder and harder. There are plenty of solutions available, but many of them are merely cookie-cutter remedies.
WordGirls is here to change all that. WordGirls is a members-only group of Christian women writers meeting virtually each month for practical and inspirational training sessions. Publishing and platform coaches Kathy Carlton Willis and Deb DeArmond founded WordGirls to provide training and products to equip writers for publication—whether they are newbies or writing veterans.
WordGirls is designed for highly motivated writers looking to accomplish the goals God’s given each of them.
WordGirls will get:
  • Monthly tutorial PDF on industry topic.
  • Monthly private webinar offering specialized training to the group. Will be recorded for those who can’t make the call.
  • Annual one-hour phone coaching with Deb or Kathy to personalize your advancement as a writer and/or speaker.
  • Input on your next one-sheet, book proposal, query letter or promo materials. One-hour evaluation.
  • Private online group to interact with each other, brainstorm, pray with each other, share ideas, ask questions, etc.
  • 10% off of any WordGirls events or for-fee materials.
  • $500+ value, for $200 (Annual fee)
WordGirls will be limited to 50 women, to assure the group’s ability to offer personalized information. They will offer open enrollment twice yearly. This initial sign-up time will be from September 1-December 31, 2014 (or until the roster is filled) for a one-year membership. The next open enrollment will be June 2015.
Two to four times a year, WordGirls will offer getaways customized each time for the specific group registered to attend. They will use the experience, knowledge, and interests of each group to determine the content. As a result, no two WG events will be identical – what makes the difference is you. WordGirls can come to your neck of the woods, too (which means you may qualify to attend at no cost). Contact Kathy and Deb to find out how.
