Indigenous Performing Arts Alliance

A Network for Indigenous artists by Indigenous artists

At Talking Stick Festival in Vancouver this February the community gathered for an Industry Series that began with a focus on Indigenous protocols and performance
facilitated by Dr. Mique'l Dangeli.

Out of this came the conceptual launch of an
Indigenous Performance Network.
Indigenous Performance Network

IPAA Network Coordinator Brittany Ryan documented our work at the Musqeum Cultural Centre.

The Report includes personal commitments made by those present at the formation of this Network.

We are asking you, the community:

What would you like from an Indigenous Performance Network?

What can you contribute?
Contact us: info@ipaa.ca
IPAA is in the process of articulating our membership fees for our Allies. Membership is free for Indigenous performing artists and by donation for Indigenous organizations. Consider making a donation to IPAA.

We encourage in kind donations. Connect with us to share how you would like to support Indigenous performance.

We are developing an Indigenous Performance Network by connecting to existing networks for inspiration and ensuring protocol and Indigenous world-views
are at the core of our Network's structure.
