Your Generosity Can Change A Community
Dear Friend,

As you consider your year-end giving plans in 2019, please consider supporting Detroit Future City. This 501(c)3 nonprofit charity works tirelessly to improve quality of life in Detroit -- and your support is needed to make its transformational change possible this year and next.

The organization has three primary areas of focus through which your contribution can have a lasting impact. These areas of focus are:
  • Open Space and Green Stormwater Infrastructure - Through its Land Use and Sustainability program, Detroit Future City provides research, training, mini-grants, and technical support to nonprofits and small businesses working to expand the intentional use of open space and green stormwater infrastructure in Detroit.

  • Neighborhood Stabilization - Through its Community and Economic Development program, Detroit Future City provides organizing, training, planning, and technical assistance support to community organizations working to develop and adopt innovative strategies to stablize neighborhood housing and commercial and industrial corridors in Detroit.

  • Economic Equity - Through its Research and Community Engagement programs, Detroit Future City organizes, conducts research, disseminates publications, and engages residents to ensure all Detroiters are knowledgeable about and empowered to participate in and benefit from the city's revitalization.
Detroit Future City is entirely supported through donations from stakeholders like you and through philanthropic support from grantmaking charities. Your year-end contribution helps make the organization's work possible and may be tax deductible - ask your tax preparer for details.
