Promoting the Educational Success of Children and Youth Learning English: Promising Futures

 

Join the Board on Children, Youth, and Families for a public release event for this new report that will be released on February 28 at 11:00 a.m.

This report examines the evidence on the developmental progress and school success of English learners, who live in homes in which a language other than English is spoken, from birth through grade 12. The event will feature members of the report's authoring committee who will present their findings and recommendations.

Harriet Romo, Professor and Director, Department of Sociology, Child Adolescent Policy Research Institute, The University of Texas
Claudio Toppelberg, Judge Baker Children's Center, Children's Hospital Boston; Department of Psychiatry, Harvard University
