SVRC Readiness Coach Update

Did you know nearly 80% of our undergraduates are working with one or more of our Readiness Coaches.

This year our coaches were invaluable in helping to improve resumes, expand networks, and refocus brands. These collaborative efforts translated into internships, study abroad programs, fellowships, full-time employment, and entry into graduate/professionals school.

With several of our graduate-level coaches leaving in May, over the next few weeks we’ll be reaching out to introduce you to your Fall 2018 coach.

Interested in the Medical Field, Check Out LLED 4000

This special Literacy, Medicine and Ethics Seminar, facilitated by Dr. Sylvia Hutchinson (our former Academic Coach), provides an introduction to patient, student or client care relating to health issues.

Guest speakers, from the medical profession, will engage with the class and respond to student questions.   Students learn how to gather life stories and respond to ethical issues of well-being for students, parents, patients, or clients.  The seminar also provides a great way to build your network.
