Full-Time Federal Social Security Administration (SSA) Jobs Across Georgia


The Athens Social Security Office is now recruiting for several full-time Claims Specialist positions. Qualified candidates compete through direct hiring authorities that expedite the hiring process. To compete, you must qualify under one of these special authorities.

This special recruitment effort is in advance of an official announcement. Postings will not appear on USAJOBS at this time. If you are interested, please send a resume, cover letter, and location preference form to ga.fo.athens@ssa.gov by Monday April 16.

Several Federal student positions have opened in Athens for 2018-2019 school year. Applications for these positions open on April 6 and close on April 12, 2018. See positions listed below:
  • Student Trainee (Biological Science II) –
    • Type: Internship / part-time.
    • Salary: $39,091 to $50,813 a year.

JP Morgan Chase & Co. - 2019 Student Veteran Internship & Program Opportunities


JP Morgan Chase has designed a 10-week intern program (intended for Undergraduates, Graduate, Postgrad, Ph.D. and MBA’s) to help position military/veterans for success in their post-service careers. Primary objectives of this program embody leadership, problem-solving and teamwork skills honed during your time in the military.
