Job Description:
The Student Veteran Resource Center (SVRC) is the primary on-campus resource for UGA student veterans who have questions about the University of Georgia or the Veterans Administration (VA). The SVRC can help students with everything from on-campus parking, to VA education benefits, academic tutoring, or career networking.
As part of its operation, the SVRC staffs a customer service desk to help with “walk-ins” and answer the phones. Since its inception, student veterans have staffed the service desk and enthusiastically stepped-up to help their fellow student veterans.
This fall, we are looking for your help! We are seeking engaging student veterans who are comfortable answering phones and greeting visitors. Additionally, staff members will be trained about the resources available to student veterans so that the service desk can properly direct individuals to the help they need.
If you are interested in applying, please email your resume to Assistant Director, Mandy Levi at mandy.levi@uga.edu or 706-542-6812.
