The FRBA is currently recruiting graduate student veterans pursuing master’s degrees in business administration, accounting, technology, or public administration for 2019 summer internships.  As a non-profit, the pay is competitive and the location is in Midtown Atlanta.

If interested in learning more, visit the FRBA website or contact Ms. Sheri Corley (Senior FRBA Recruiter) at sheri.corley@atl.frb.org

The Veterans Employment Trajectory (VET) Initiative:

The VET Initiative is an internship facilitated by the Washington Center, a non-profit based out of DC.  The initiative was established to help veterans learn and explore their chosen career fields, connect them to industry professionals, and ultimately help them achieve their career aspirations.

Selected applicants will be staying at the Washington Center's housing and all costs are covered by the program scholarship. These apartments are located in central Washington, D.C., close to Union Station and Capitol Hill.

SVRC Scholarships, Awards, and Grants Update:

Though the SVRC Scholarship Application window closed earlier this week, some of you may receive an additional opportunity to secure funding through an SVRC grant. These grants are based on financial need, academic performance, participation in our oral history program or progress within our career readiness program. Two of the grants are open to ALL student veterans, while the other two are designed to target only our undergraduates (i.e. academic performance and readiness).

Should you be eligible for one or more of these competitive grants, you will receive an e-mail along with a defined window of opportunity to opt-in. If you do not receive an e-mail, then that means you unfortunately did not meet the narrowly defined eligibility requirements.
For questions/concerns please contact our SVRC Newsletter Editor Jason Badia.
