The Local Food Keeps Rolling In!

Climate change and related environmental crises are certainly creating uncertainty in our world.  I can't say I was surprised by the six inches of snow we received this afternoon and evening, but it was quite bracing after our recent 80 degree days!  Our new norm is to expect the unexpected and erratic.

And that makes our commitment to featuring local foods and supporting our local economy even more urgent.  By utilizing locally-grown ingredients, we are reducing our carbon footprint, supporting farms who are growing beautiful organic foods and training the next generation of farmers, and keeping our dollars in our local communities.

I'm thrilled to provide you with a list of locally-grown and produced foods (Western MA., Eastern NY and Vt.) used in our menus this past week and soon to be used in our menus this coming week.
