Grief-filled, Fearful, Perplexed

Now What?
Grieve.
Gather.
Galvanize.

* Ask a child how he or she is doing. Show them good role models.
* Go for a walk and feel the strength, ancient history, and resilience of our earth fill me.
* Give a hug.  Receive a hug.  Again and again and again and again.
* Rise and Stand with people being hurt by prevalent hateful words and actions.
* Listen, keenly listen.  To those with whom I share common ground and especially to those whose common ground I don't readily recognize.
* FIND the common ground...find the thread that connects.
* Resist that which I know is wrong.
* Vigorously use my body...work out the tension and build energy.
* Defend and fight for our precious natural world.
* Cultivate love, kindness, compassion, forgiveness.
* Recognize the anger inside and express it cleanly.  No blame. No shame.  I'm not a victim.
* Thank the people who fight for what is right and just.  Join them.
* Sing!  Dance!  Celebrate all the blessings in my life.
* And, of course, cook my heart out.  Fill the food with extra love and gratitude.
