Please join us this Sunday for USAID's side meeting on expanding essential health services to marginalized groups in low- and middle-income settings. Jennifer Adams, USAID's Acting Assistant Administrator for the Bureau for Global Health, will provide opening remarks and Kelly Saldana, the new USAID Director of the Office of Health Systems, will close the day with reflections.

Sessions will draw on country experiences and global evidence to explore strategies to expand financial protection to those who are often excluded ‒ the informal sector and the poor ‒ and how initiatives targeting the most vulnerable can be sustained and scaled up.

Don't miss the afternoon debate: "Improving the health of the poorest and most vulnerable: more money, expanded services or better governance?" featuring Anele Yawa (National General Secretary, Treatment Action Campaign, South Africa), H.E. Dr. Olusegun Mimiko (Governor, Ondo State, Nigeria), and Kelly Saldana (Director, Office of Health Systems, USAID).
