Sight and Sound are doing a webinar again this week. See details below:

You previously registered for or attended one or more of our Webinar Wednesday sessions, which have been running since the start of lockdown in late March.
Over the last 13 or so weeks we've explored lots of technology from our own portfolio and that of some of our friends and collaborators in the industry. We've also tackled the big issue of social distancing for people with sight loss and now, I'm writing to let you know about another big session that we're running on Wednesday July 8th, at 2:00 PM.
Exercise and maintaining a good level of fitness is key in preserving our physical and mental health. The last few months of lockdown have been challenging on lots of levels, but for people with sight loss, the difficulties in accessing appropriate activities to sustain a level of fitness has been particularly difficult.
On our next Webinar Wednesday, we’re bringing a panel together to talk all things sport, exercise, and leisure activities for people with sight loss. We’ll hear about the hugely successful park run initiatives, which have been sweeping across Ireland and the UK in the last two years.
We’ll talk about how you might access your local gym post lockdown and things you may need to consider before heading off for your regular session.
We’ll talk about how you can do simple things in your home to keep fit and, we’ll meet some of the high performance athletes who are journeying towards Tokyo 2021 and hear how lockdown has forced them to make changes to their training routines.
Questions and discussion are very much welcome, so if there’s a sport or leisure activity that you ever wanted to know about, or something that you’d like to do, please join us and ask our panel for their thoughts.
You can
register for this session here:
if you wish to join us live.
For those who can't attend, the session will be made available afterwards on  our
Webinars YouTube channel, link
or by visiting our
podcast page on Audioboom, link
We look forward to you joining us at a Webinar Wednesday event very soon, and we hope to see you on July 8th when we can all try to get some exercise!

These are activities or events you can do any time:

== Free audio yoga and meditation course.
To listen to the audio files, click the link below and enter your name and email and then you get access to the files.

== Tips for the Touch:
Tip 1:
Having trouble clicking these links on the Touch? Simply copy the link like you'd normally copy text, navigate to your browser's address bar and press Space+Backspace+V.
Tip 2:
Want to close a single app on the Touch + without closing everything else down?
Short press the square button on the front and then scroll down until you get to the app you want, then click "Dismiss (app name)" to close the app.
Tip 3: Want to share your screen on your Touch + with someone?
Open or download Zoom, create a free meeting or join an existing meeting and then click Share > Screen > Start Broadcast To stop sharing, open Zoom and click the "Stop share" button.

Tip 4: Wondering why you can't see italic and bold text appear as italics or bold in documents.
Go to settings > miscellaneous > Format markers and set it to all markers. You should then see a mark each side of text in bold, italics, underline, or headings. Sadly, you cannot navigate by headings though which rather defeats the point of being able to see them.

We look forward to our next email,

Theo Holroyd
