Video Studio Work Day Tuesday
To continue organizing the Studio...
OUR SECOND STUDIO WORKDAY WILL BE HELD
Tuesday, August 6, 2019, 1-3 pm
and we’ll need YOUR help!
To volunteer, please email Tom Nash at email@example.com.
Here are some photos from our first Work Day on Monday, July 22, when about a dozen members turned out enthusiastically to clean and organize.
And here's what our green-screen set looks like with new (donated) lighting that will light only the background and not the subjects, improving color-key separation. Tom Nash admires the handiwork.
Special thanks go to Tom Nash, Jack Crawbuck, and Jim Rohrs for major help with our many summer improvements in the Video Studio.
NOTICE!! New Studio furniture is coming soon with the completion of our 30th Anniversary Fund Raising Campaign!
Learn About "New Video Toys" at September 19 General Meeting
Our speaker at the Video Club's next General Meeting, Thursday, September 19, in the Video Lab will be photographer-videographer Don Hill on "What's in My Camera Bag? New Toys for Old Folks." Don is a Video Club member as well as an active member of the Camera Club. He will emphasize today's new, lighter video equipment -- especially smartphones and their accessories.
Refreshments and socializing at 6:30 pm (and maybe video and photos from our great July 18 BBQ!) followed by program at 7 pm. Open without charge to all residents and their guests. More info to come...
