Video One Productions to Meet on 2nd Fridays
Video One Productions -- the Video Club's special interest Forum devoted to team-based video-making -- has changed their monthly meeting time to the SECOND Friday of the month. The change was made to permit the group's mentor, Dr. Tom Nash (our club's VP and Director of Learning Opportunities), to attend regularly since Tom currently has a conflict on first Friday afternoons.
The next Video One Productions meeting will be on Friday, October 11, 1-3 pm in the Video Studio Control Room/Classroom.
Changes will also be made in Tom's new series of three Video Production Classes which start September 27. (An updated flyer will be issued soon.) These classes are to be held from 1-3 pm in the Video Studio; however, two sessions now conflict with Video One Productions meetings.
The Friday, October 11 opening session of "How to Record Great Audio and Solve Audio Problems" and the Friday, November 8 opening session of "Advanced Video Production Using Green Screen" will be rescheduled to meet on Friday mornings from 10 am-noon in the Video Studio.
Many Thanks to Dr. Jeanne Mayer
Dr. Jeanne Mayer has stepped down as our Video One Productions Facilitator to devote more time to business interests. Many thanks to Jeanne, who has served a year in this position, helping our special interest Forum for team-based video-making become an ever-more-active part of the Video Club. Jeanne has also taught a performance class, "Smile for the Camera," for the club.
Four VidOners have volunteered to run meetings during the next four months until a new Facilitator is named. The Interim Facilitators are John Kelly (October 11), Steve Savlor (November 8), Charlie Redner (*December 13), and Jill Amadio (January 10).
