We're Gonna Have A Plaque at Clubhouse 1

Thanks to longtime club members Bonnie Beaux Fullerton (below) and Leon Goldberg (left), a Video Club plaque will decorate the colonnade fronting Clubhouse 1, along with plaques from many other Village clubs. Bonnie and Leon were fortunate to find a prime inside spot on a column near the main entrance. "Another club was dissolved and their plaque was removed," Bonnie explained, adding, "What luck!" The plaque was to be affixed to the column on April 16. Bonnie and Leon turned to the Woodshop at Clubhouse 4 to have mounting holes drilled in the plaque.

Since the Video Club has never had a plaque at Clubhouse 1, an unveiling ceremony may be held as part of the our 30th Anniversary festivities, according to Lucy Parker, Publicity Director. The plaque matches the one on the Video Lab podium and was first presented to the club during the January 17 30th Anniversary Open House.
