Videogram ALERT, September 14, 2015
Hi, Members and Friends:
We're back for fall with a busy week at the Video Club. Hope you can join us...
Project Day this afternoon (Monday, September 14), 1-3 pm in the Video Lab. Open free to all. Fresh off the success of the Video Club-sponsored comedy game show “Never Too Late to Date,” Phil Doran will be presenting plans for a new TV series, “Never Too Late to Be Great.” Also presenting will be novelist Nancy Klann, who's been developing a promotional video for her award-winning novel, "The Clock of Time." Additional presenters are planned. Don't miss it.
General Meeting, this Thursday evening, September 17, 6:30 pm in the Video Lab. Open free to all. The co-recipients of the "Best Picture" award in our Annual Short Video Contest last January, Lucy Parker and Linda Lenthall, will show their videos and explain how they developed their projects. The program, “Creating A Winning Video,” reminds members that the deadline for this year's contest is just a few months away.

"Introduction to Video Editing" Class -- four weekly sessions beginning this Thursday, September 17, 10 am-noon in the Video Lab and Studio. Dr. Tom Nash will explain the basics of cameras, lighting, audio, and editing with detailed handouts. $5 per session, pre-registration not required. Open to all members and residents. If you haven't taken this popular class -- or would like to repeat all or part of it -- now's your opportunity! For more info, contact Tom at firstname.lastname@example.org or 714 381-0781.
