Traveling From Europe to the U.S.

Speaking of our fall event, we have been receiving questions related to the complexities of travel to the U.S. from European countries.

As you likely know, the travel ban into the U.S. remains in place and residents of Schengen nations are required to procure a National Interest Exemption (NIE) for travel to the United States. Much more information about this program and process is available here; it is recommended by most U.S. embassies that the application be submitted at least 3 weeks in advance of travel, so we wanted to give you ample time to submit.

We have created a resource specific to this information HERE, including the latest on the NIE validity window, the parameters for acquiring an NIE from most European nations, and resources and tips shared by our members.

If you have any additional questions or if you would be willing to serve as a resource in this process for a fellow ALDA conference attendee, please reach out to ALDA President & CEO Mike Copps at mcopps@thealda.org.
D&I Benchmarking Executive Summary Webinar

Join us on Monday, September 20 at 11:00 AM Eastern to learn more about our D&I Benchmarking survey results and the soon-to-be-released Executive Summary which will be sent out to all ALDA members.

Forty-five member companies participated in our first D&I Benchmarking survey and represented data on ~265,000 employees. Those member companies received the full report and a deep dive into the data in February however now all member companies are invited to join us to learn more about the soon to be released Executive Summary.

Pearl Meyer, our partners in conducting the survey, will share this data with attendees followed by the chair of ALDA’s DEI Task Force, Dan Shine with Thermo Fisher Scientific, discussing what steps ALDA plans to take next, including our next version of this survey.
