Greetings Everyone,

I hope you've been enjoying a fabulous summer so far - and welcome to the family of Industrial Alliance Securities Inc., the new owner of HollisWealth. As expected, the transisiton at the beginning of August has generally gone well and we are pretty much continuing business as usual. Thank you for your patience in any areas where you experienced change and please know that everyone on my team is prepared to help should you have any needs.

Personally, I had a wonderful time during our traditional week of vacation in Pentiction with my extended family and friends in late July. My summer experiences included cycling regularly to work with Ed, playing tennis and hockey with my hockey buddies, and biking leisurely into Steveston with my wife Rose Mary. We've really enjoyed having our youngest son, Nick, home for the summer. He helped me produce a new video and some design work which many of you will get to see in the near future.

As our kids and grandkids go back to school in September, it always tends to mark a new beginning in our daily lives as we refocus ourselves and make changes, some small, some not-so-small, to our daily routines. Then we hope the summer weather continues for a while longer, so the changes that happen will be easier to bear. Let's all hope for an Indian Summer.
