Dear Colleagues,

Inholland University of Applied Sciences is organizing for the nineth time the advanced Hands-on course VMAT Treatment Planning. This course is aiming at both Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT) and Stereotactic Ablative Radiatiotherapy(SABR). On behalf of Emmy Lamers and myself, I am sending you information on this hands-on course that will be organized by Inholland University of Applied Sciences in Haarlem, The Netherlands in November this year (2015).

This international Treatment Planning hands-on course will take place from Monday 02-NOV-15 to Friday 06-NOV-15 and will be given in English. The course is designed for radiation therapy technologists (RTTs), medical physicists/radiation oncologists (in training) and medical engineers working in RT departments. RTTs, physicists or engineers working for companies that develop RT products may also benefit from this course.

The emphasis is on the practical aspects of IMRT, VMAT & SABR Treatment Planning; i.e. this course should be considered as a complement to more general courses on these topics. It is primarily meant for professionals who will be actively involved in the treatment planning of IMRT, VMAT or SABR and want to know more about the various approaches for specific cases, as well as the possibilities of modern treatment planning systems to plan these cases.
