Hope's Path is Spared Once More!
Over the past month, most of us have been able to witness what feels like unending storms, flooded roads and homes. While the entire Spring Hills neighborhood flooded due to the storms, Hope's Path was left completely untouched. Which is a tremendous blessing for us, because, according to experts, the flooding that has occurred this year was far worse than the flooding of 1994. God kept his hand over the Hope’s Path house, allowing us to serve his Children. We send out our love and prayers to those whose homes were affected by the flood. The blessing God gave us in sparing the home provided us all a greater understanding of our need to be loving servants to our neighbors. We will be helping our neighbors in need on Friday June 3rd, 2016, please come out and join us! (If you are interested in volunteering, contact
May 2016 Special Thanks!

Hope's Path would like to thank our general contractor Dudley Carpenter and all of our Subcontractors that are consistently donating their time and talents in preparation of our grand opening in August. In appreciation, Hope’s Path will be hosting a crawfish boil in their honor, stay posted for future date and time.
Program Updates

The Hope's Path Program consists of 3 pillars, Christian Mentoring, Life Skills Development, and Education/ Vocational Development. Each of these pillars play a fundamental part in the development and growth of each program participant.

Christian Mentoring. The first pillar of the Hope’s Path program, which will be modeled after the Open Table model. Open Table provides thorough training for this program and offers a communication portal (Basecamp) for each Table and their members for support and assistance. On June 4th we will be hosting our informational meeting about the Open Table at Stone Bridge Community Church. (If you are interested in attending, please contact For more information about the Open Table, please visit

Life Skills Development. 4 different levels in which each level has a different name similar to College (Freshman, Sophomore, etc.) In order for a participant to graduate or move on to the next level they must complete a certain number of hours from the previous level.

Vocational Development. Offered by Delta Structural Technology, and Structure Coating & Cleaning. Delta Structural Technology plans to provide housing, transportation, and summer jobs. Structure Coating & Cleaning plans to provide employment and mentoring for the youth.

Educational Development. Offered by Universal Technical Institute, Sam Houston State University, and Lone Star Community College. The Universal Technical Institute provides Vocational and Educational opportunities, as well as courses in automotive education, which includes housing, financial aid, and employment. In addition, Hope’s Path is working with Sam Houston State University and their Forward Program to provide an online or hybrid College Success course to ensure all of Texas’ foster youth can ‘lock in’ their tuition waiver. Hope's Path has also been working with Lone Star College and the FCAT support program. FCAT is under the umbrella of Education Partnerships and P-16 Initiatives at LSCS, designed to reach out to students who have aged out or are aging out of foster care. This program focuses on assisting students to make a successful transition from high school into higher education and provides support as they pursue their life goals.

If you are interested in partnering with us, please reach out to Terri Jaggers (Executive Director) or Jeremiah Belyeu (Program Director) to set up a meeting.

The Hope's Path team would like to thank Northside Christian Church for providing Jody with a temporary Host Home. Jody is 23 years old, he grew up in various CPS placements around Texas after his mother passed away when he was a child. Jody graduated from George Bush High School, in Fort Bend, where he stayed in extended foster care, before moving out of state for a few years. Jody became a part of the Hope's Path Program because he realized he needed further support and guidance, in order to reach his goals, and live the successful life he desires. Since coming to Hope's Path, Jody has participated in a vocational training experience, thanks to Structure Coating & Cleaning, has been working on building his resume, and sharpening his employment skills. We are all excited about seeing all of the great things God has in store for Jody! For more information or if you are interested in being a part of Jody's mentoring  and support team please contact our Program Director,

We welcome with open arms our summer intern, Nicole Moreno. Nicole is a senior, and is majoring in Communication Studies as Sam Houston State University. Nicole will continue on, in place of Emily, while Nicole has some big shoes to fill, we are sure she will do great!
