Important KLIC announcement

There has been a lot of information sent out by West Ham United in recent weeks about the final season at Upton Park, the first season at the Olympic Stadium and season tickets.

The committee has been working hard to cut through the jargon and establish the position we currently find ourselves in regarding our season tickets. In short, we’re in an extraordinary situation and we need members of our season ticket share scheme to act promptly with West Ham United looking to increase season ticket prices by 5% and asking us to pay a deposit on season tickets for both next season and our first campaign in our new home in the coming months.

We need to know if you would like the same number of games for the next two seasons (2015/16 & 2016/17) or whether you would like to attend more or fewer games in the upcoming campaigns. Secretary Mark Steele will be distributing an application form in due course for members to fill in and return along with a £25 deposit by March 2.

You will then have until May 29 to pay the balance to secure your place on the season ticket scheme for the 2015/16 campaign.

We will then need to have received a further deposit of £50 before July 3 for the 2016/17 season and our first at the Olympic Stadium. The balance won't need to be paid off until June 1, 2016.

Opinions on what we should do regarding our final game at Upton Park and our first game at the Olympic Stadium will be sought at a later date. For now, we only want your commitment, details of how many games you’d like to attend over the next two seasons and two payments between now and June.

If you have any questions regarding any of the above, please feel free to contact Secretary Mark Steele.

Media, Publicity & Communications Officer

We also have a similar number of season ticket holders in the Bobby Moore Lower Stand and two in the East Stand Upper.

By joining the King's Lynn Irons you don't just get the opportunity to buy tickets for home games, we have the chance to get you priority match tickets for most Premier League away games, Carling Cup and FA Cup matches. As well as match tickets we offer discounted rail travel for all KLIC members who travel with the supporters' club to each home match, and for KLIC members group away days we also have the option of hiring mini buses for a great away trip.

The benefits don't end there. The KLIC also hosts a number of social events during the year which prove very popular not only with our members but also their wives and partners.
