Welcome to your King's Lynn Irons Club eNewsletter

Welcome to the first King's Lynn Irons Club eNewsletter. This is something I have wanted to establish ever since joining KLIC and I hope it proves useful to members over the coming months/years.

The aim of this eNewsletter is simply to keep you up-to-date with everything KLIC has been doing as well as looking ahead to what events and matchday travel arrangements are coming up.

You will notice below, for example, it is an early start for members wishing to travel down to London for the Southampton home game. There are also details below regarding the Christmas meal, which is something that needs your urgent attention and I hope, after reading this, you get in contact with Mark to secure your place and arrange for payment.

I'm not sure if this is a KLIC first but we've also created a KLIC fantasy football league for this season. If you haven't set up your team yet, you can still do so even though the first week of the season has been played. I have included the link and the code you'll need to use to sign up and join our league.

Finally, if you have anything you'd like mentioned in a particular eNewsletter, send it to media@kingslynnirons.com and I'll take it from there.

Media, Publicity & Communications Officer

Matchday Travel

We can confirm arrangements for our home game against Southampton at 3pm on Saturday 30 August.

We are going to meet at King's Lynn Railway Station from 8:15am to travel on the 8:55am train. It's an earlier start than usual as we're planning to go to The Black Lion in Plaistow for lunch to celebrate KLIC member Steve Jackson's birthday.

Anyone interested in a possible mini-bus trip and match tickets for the AWAY match at Stoke City on Saturday 1 November at 3pm. Please contact the Secretary Mark Steele ASAP

The aim of the King's Lynn Irons Club is to give fans in the King's Lynn and surrounding area the opportunity to get tickets to watch our team - West Ham United - at home and away. We have more than 30 season ticket holders at Upton Park for the 2014/2015 season including 16 in the West Stand (Alpari) Upper Tier, the premier stand at the Boleyn Ground. We also have a similar number of season ticket holders in the Bobby Moore Lower Stand and two in the East Stand Upper.

By joining the King's Lynn Irons you don't just get the opportunity to buy tickets for home games, we have the chance to get you priority match tickets for most Premier League away games, Carling Cup and FA Cup matches. As well as match tickets we offer discounted rail travel for all KLIC members who travel with the supporters' club to each home match, and for KLIC members group away days we also have the option of hiring mini buses for a great away trip.

The benefits don't end there. The KLIC also hosts a number of social events during the year which prove very popular not only with our members but also their wives and partners. If you want to join the King's Lynn Irons it doesn't break the bank either, a season's membership costs just £10 for Adults and £5 for under 18s.
