This Sunday is Trinity Sunday

Our  Patronal Festival on Trinity Sunday, May 27th at 11am

Dear <<First Name>>,
I'm writing to let you know that this Sunday is Trinity Sunday. It's a big day for our church. It's our Patronal Festival, and we welcome the Reverend Eric Muhl, Vicar of the Swedish Church in London as our guest preacher. The service will be followed by fizz and canapés in the church to celebrate, to which all are invited.
The service is at 11am. (There's no 8 o'clock or 9.30am that day, and no service at Great Hampden.)
There will of course be activity bags for the children in church as well as games and activities for them afterwards.
I do hope you'll be there!
With best wishes,

THIS THURSDAY Many of you will remember Michael and Michele Foot, who moved away last year, with fondness. Michael has published his first novel, Moving On. It is a fast-paced novel exploring the theme of old age, and how it might be treated by a manipulative politician. It was this year's Lent Book . Michael has agreed to give a book talk in the church on Thursday 24th May at 7.30pm – 9.00pm where Michael will talk briefly about his book and the main issues it raises about the treatment of the elderly, so we can explore these themes together. The evening is free to people who have already purchased the book and will be £4 for people who don’t yet have a copy. Please pay on the night and you will get a copy of the book given to you. Michael has agreed that all funds raised will go to the church.
