Updates from NHS London Procurement Partnership 24th June 2016

Be prepared: water deregulation May 2017
LPP members spend around £10m per annum on water. LPP is working collaboratively with CCS to bring to market an EU-compliant procurement framework. This should be a fantastic opportunity to deliver optimal savings if we can arrange for as many organisations as possible to go to market with a committed demand and to identify a programme for water reduction measures. Please contact Edward James to express interest in this work. More information on the LPP website.
DPS training in the use of Dynamic Purchasing Systems - free for LPP
LPP and representatives from Finnish Procurement Lawyers Attorneys Ltd will be running a training session on the use of Dynamic Purchasing Systems at the FPLA's Canary Wharf offices on September 22nd. The agenda will cover what kinds of procurement lend themselves to DPS, the key stages, and examples from Finnish public procurements and LPP's DPS experiences. Ed James will also be speaking about DPS at the P4H event in July.
IHEEM survey: the challenges facing NHS estate professionals
IHEEM is carrying out a survey to identify and share key challenges faced by healthcare engineering and estate professionals. This five minute survey asks about budgets, priorities for equipment purchases, and ways to meet energy reduction targets. Please complete this survey by 30th June.
New tender: Outpatient Pharmacy Dispensing
With an increasing number of NHS organisations looking to generate efficiencies and service improvements in Outpatient Pharmacy Dispensing, LPP has taken the decision to build a framework agreement for these services. A PIN has been issued with a view to having a framework live by the end of the financial year. For more information please contact Project Manager Marc Osborne.
Patient Transport Services: final call for information
To address the issues around NEPTS, LPP is looking to hold a meeting with all members to understand how improvements in the service can be made, and what the future of patient transport should look like. If you would like to be involved in this meeting please contact Edward.james@lpp.nhs.uk

Scoping for a new Training framework - last call for your requirements
The Estates, Facilities and Professional Services team has been asked to build a new framework agreement for the provision of non-clinical training courses (including mandatory training) - please tell us about your current use of training providers in this short seven-question survey.
