Total Cardiology framework due to go live 5th May
The LPP Steering Board approved the award of the Total Cardiology Solutions Framework Agreement and award notification letters have been issued to suppliers. The 10 day standstill period ends Friday 1st May 2015. The start date for the new framework agreement will be 5th May 2015, immediately following the bank holiday.

Nitric Oxide framework extended
The Commercial Medicines Unit (CMU) has extended the national framework agreement for Nitric Oxide Therapy and the contract now ends on 31st March 2016. There are a number of changes to the agreement:
 •        InoTherapeutics has scrapped its delivery charge from 1st April 2015, and has introduced further discounts for trusts using over 1480 chargeable hours pa
•         Air Liquide is no longer on the framework.

The cost comparison tool has been updated to reflect the changes to InoTherapeutics pricing. Framework information is available on the LPP website - you will need to log in to view.

HCSA Procurement Development Programme 2015
This year's HCSA PDP Programme has been launched. Running from 5th-9th October 2015 at The Woodland Grange Conference Centre in Warwickshire, it is designed for those working in organisations concerned with NHS supply chain management, purchasing and commissioning and who are at an early stage in their career or have recently joined the NHS. If you are a sponsoring manager please email John Effingham for more information and to signal your interest in booking places.

John Goulston takes over as LPP Chair

John Goulston, Chief Executive at Croydon Health Services NHS Trust, is taking over as Chair of the LPP Steering Board. Lorraine Bewes, Chief Financial Officer, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, is stepping down after two years in the post but will remain a member of the Board.

New Legal Services framework

is the subject of a drop-in session for members on 21st May. The current LPP/HTE framework expires in August and cannot be extended. Through our collaboration as CPP, a new NHS Commercial Alliance framework will be available to members. Find out more from LPP and suppliers.
