Updates from NHS London Procurement Partnership 13th November 2015

Insulin Therapy Pumps: please complete survey by 30th November
A number of LPP members are keen to aggregate their Insulin Pumps procurement, and go to market together to obtain optimum prices. We have examined the NHS East of England Collaborative Procurement Hub framework  – available to LPP members through our joint working as NHS Collaborative Procurement Partnership - and we are now in a position to scope the demand from all members, with a view to carrying out a mini competition before the end of 2015, and to awarding a contract in March.

To enable us to calculate likely demand, interest and potential savings, could you kindly complete this very short survey (just five questions) on your current usage? If you have any questions in the meantime, please contact Beth Watkins, Senior Category Manager, who is leading on this project.

Minor Works Dynamic Purchasing System: please invite your suppliers to join
LPP has published an OJEU notice to establish a new DPS for Minor Building Works. As this is a DPS and not a traditional framework, it has the flexibility to enable suppliers to join the DPS at any time. It covers a very wide range of minor works, from electrical and carpentry to design and build.

All public sector organisations will be able to access suppliers via the DPS, and it is particularly suitable for Small and Medium sized Enterprises who wish to do business with you. If you have suppliers who you think should be available through this compliant route, please alert them to the opportunity. We have produced a template letter for you to use for this purpose, which you can download from our website. (Please note you will need to be logged in to access the document.)
