Annual Gala Dinner Postponed to 2022

Because our Annual Gala Dinner of Culinary Inspirations is the Chapter’s most significant fund raiser, the Gala Committee is grateful that we were able to host a safe and successful event in 2020. Things of course are different this year and an in person gala is just not an option. While we are planning an alternative fund raising event coming up soon, we do look forward to seeing you in 2022 when we can once again enjoy all of the excitement of our annual Gala. We very much value our partnership with the incredible team of local chefs who volunteer their time and talents to the Gala every year. While they are focused on their respective restaurants and businesses during this very challenging year, we encourage you to support them any way you can and as often as you can.

Over the past year, we have all had to adapt and be more creative in how we do things and how we interact with one another. We hope that you will be excited about our new upcoming event – CHS-MC’s Spring Fling Virtual Fundraiser. Details are outlined below. Please join us and enjoy a wonderful wine-paired meal in the comfort of your own home and then login for a fun evening program via Zoom that the whole family can enjoy.

So many dinner choices!

Dinner will be prepared by Calabria Market and includes a charcuterie board, entrée, dessert and red or white wine. Guests will have their choice of pizza or pasta, choice of dessert and wine paired by Manitoba Liquor Marts! You can order your dinner for 2 or 1! You can order dinner for kids! You can have a vegetarian or gluten free meal! AND…you can pick up your meal and be entered in a draw to win a $200 Calabria gift basket! If pickup isn’t an option for you, delivery will be available. Spring Fling order deadline is Sunday March 21^st 5 PM.

Guests who choose to pick up their orders at Calabria Market will be entered into a draw for a $200 Calabria Market gift basket! On your order form you have pick-up choices:

Evening Program via Zoom Webinar

The evening program begins at 7:30 PM. Join us for prize draws, raffle & 50/50 draw, #donationdozen2021 by @eggartbypeter, and the virtual game!

Get ready for interactive trivia fun using your phone, tablet, or second PC/laptop! Log into the game and answer directly from your device. We’ll project the leader board so you’ll know how you are doing. We have prizes to award for the top three trivia masters.
