Come to Book-ish, a market for all things literary: a poet, prints, hand made books and some wordy accessories with E17 Designers'.

Saturday 13th June 12 – 6pm
E17 Art Trail Venue: 79
The theme for this year’s art trail is Storytelling, and this market will be selected on a theme of 'bookish' work featuring illustrations, accessories, hand-made or illustrated print books, poetry books and pamphlets, screen prints and posters, stationery, and text based jewellery: all for sale direct from the artist/maker! Who is at Book-ish?: Local illustrator Chris Walker will be selling copies of Yellow Man – A Walthamstory – a book written and illustrated specially for the 2015 E17 Art Trail: the story came from an urgent plea on a local website, to help find a boy’s lost toy... the Yellow Man. By chance Chris was passing the last known whereabouts of Yellow Man later that day, and what do you know? He found him, and illustrated a book about Yellow Man’s adventures (while waiting for his owner to collect). The book will be on sale along with Chris’s exquisite illustrations.  Poet Graham Clifford will be with us, whose book The Hitting Game, was commended in this year’s Forward Prize.  Find out more about all the exhibitors on the E17 Designers' webpage here
