Campus Migration to Outlook 365
The email migration to Outlook 365 will start Wednesday, May 8. This change brings a host of benefits including added security and manageability. Most important of these benefits is a virtually unlimited inbox (50 Gig).
Mailbox migrations will be conducted after hours over the course of several weeks. When you are on the schedule for migration you will receive an email that your account is about to be migrated to Office 365.
After your mailbox has been migrated, your devices may need to be updated to access your email account. Android, iPhone and Apple Mail users will need to remove their current UM account and add the Office 365 account. Email addresses will be unchanged. Instructional documents can be found on the UM website under Faculty & Staff.

May is National Military Appreciation Month
Did you know the EpiPen auto-injection device was used first in the Military? Long before kids, parents and schools were carrying EpiPens around for allergic reactions, the U.S. Military provided the device to soldiers. Early versions of the EpiPen auto-injection technology were used by the military to safeguard against nerve gas attacks. The Mark I NAAK (Nerve Agent Antidote Kit) is still a part of every service member’s survival kit. This fun fact is provided by the UM Office of Veteran and Military Affairs, who encourages you to do something special this month to honor those who are serving or have served our country in the military.
