Student Highlights
The New South Intercollegiate Swim Conference has selected Montevallo freshman Molly Hansen as a member of the Second Team All-NSISC team. Hansen claimed a spot on the all-conference team after her 37-point performance at the NSISC Championship Meet. The freshman out of Thibodaux, Louisiana, holds the school record for multiple events including the 50 breaststroke, 100 breaststroke, 200 breaststroke, 100 IM, 200 IM and 400 IM.
The COPLAC undergraduate research journal, Metamorphosis, has recently published papers from three of our undergraduate researchers: Caleb Lyle, Thomas Reid and Kelli Sellers. The Undergraduate Research Program would like to congratulate these students on a job well done. We are also thankful to their faculty mentors, Dr. Alexander Metchitov, Dr. James Day and Dr. Cynthia Mwenja, for being so generous with their time and expertise!
