Ensure You are Signed Up for UMAlert
We would like to thank the students, faculty and staff who participated in the soft lockdown drill on campus on Nov. 6. The exercise provided valuable feedback and experience for strengthening the University’s emergency notification and response plans.
Please take a few minutes to ensure you have provided accurate and up-to-date contact information in the UMAlert system by visiting Myschoolcast.com/go/um. It is highly encouraged that you list multiple phone numbers (work, cell, home) and email addresses in the UMAlert system to ensure messages reach you in the event of true campus emergency.
UMAlert phone calls will come from (205) 665-6911 and text alerts from 223-83. Please save these numbers as contacts in your phone to prevent UMAlert notifications from being categorized as spam.
