Police Panic Button Added to Latest Computer Refresh
Those with newly refreshed desktop computers may have noticed a new shortcut: a red button with the words “PANIC, SEND POLICE” written in all caps.
This panic button is a direct line to UM police and should only be used in case of a life-threatening emergency. Do not “test” this button.
To use it, double-click the button and expect a police response to be quick with appropriate concern.
This will only appear on recently refreshed desktop computers. If your icon is blank or missing, please email Adam Boothe.

Each year, this nation-wide contest features student artwork from more than 200 Congressional offices. The winning artwork from each district is later displayed in the U.S. Capitol building for one year.
