Young Adults' Bible Study
All young adult/college and career people are invited to join us this coming Sunday for a time of bible study during the Family Bible Hour time.  The study will take place in the lower hall.  Don will be teaching the class.  Hope to see you at 9:30 a.m.

Beginning on Sunday, January 11th, Donald C. will be starting a 12 week class on BELIEVING GOD.  Here is a little description of the class:  "While Christians may express trust in God's words, they refuse in numerous ways, to stake their lives on what He says.  This teaching series challenges Christians to take a second glance at twelve of the most significant promises in Scripture.  We will methodically unpack each divine pledge and invite every Christian with a teachable heart to discover anew the grandeur of what God has committed to do for His people and to live in the joy of God's promises".  For more information, please see Donald C.

Sunday Morning Children's Ministries  Please be in prayer for Jon W. as he faithfully teaches our children during the family bible hour.  Please also pray for Jennifer J. and all her volunteers who faithfully teach our children in Children's Church.

OUR HOPE 2015!
'HOPE'...Don't Let Go!"

Niagara Icedogs "Church Night"
Friday, January 16, 2015 at 7 p.m.  Tickets are $15 each

A couple of years ago the owners of the 'Icedogs' were attending a game in Belleville and it happened to be a night where Hockey Ministries International were involved in a ceremonial puck drop and following the game, a former NHL hockey player shared some of his hockey experiences and his faith in Jesus Christ.  The owners told me that when the team moved into their new arena-THE MERIDIAN CENTRE-they would love to host an event like they had experienced in Belleville, here in St. Catharines.

It is about to become a reality early in 2015.  On Friday, January 16th the Icedogs will be hosting the North Bay Battalion.  Former NHLer Mark Osborne will be a special guest that night and will share with those in attendance following the game but there is an added bonus.  From 5 to 6 p.m. if you are a part of the group purchasing tickets for the "Church Night" you can actually go for a skate at the Meridian Centre.

The tickets have been purchased.  The tickets will be available this coming Sunday.  Please have cash money for your tickets.  If you did not sign up to receive tickets, I did buy extra tickets and they are available for the same price of $15.

Please pray for a great night together and for the ministry that will take place through Hockey Ministries International

...don't let go!

Thank you for your generous donations of food that were placed in The Salvation Army Food Barrels. There are so many families in our community that are in need of assistance.  Thank you for giving these gifts of hope!

Closing Words:

Friday, February 6 at 6:30 p.m.  "Dinner and Movie".  Please pray for this event.  Invitations will be extended to many and we are praying that those invitations will be accepted.   May God prepare those who will be in attendance that their hearts will be open to hear the message of hope.

You can be involved by praying, inviting people or by helping to serve on Feb. 6th.

Our Hope 2015 will not consist of one event.  Our prayer is that this will be a kick off to a commitment to take the message of Hope that is found in Jesus Christ to our community.

Our theme verse for Our Hope 2015 is Romans 15:13:  "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit".

Hope...don't let go!

Have a great week!
Pastor Moe
