OUR HOPE 2015!
'HOPE'...Don't Let Go!"

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.  Romans 15:13

Are you interested in taking the ALPHA program?  Have friend(s) that you would like to attend?  ALPHA will return in the fall of 2015.

The testimony of the believer is such a powerful tool of encouragement in the life of the church.
I like to think of a testimony of a follower of Jesus in this way--it's when His story becomes your story and becomes our story.

Do you have a word of testimony that you would like to share?  A word of hope that will be a blessing to others.
Please talk to me!  Thank you!

 Sunday BBQ’s at Westburne

Starting on Sunday May 17 until Sunday, September 20 our morning church services will begin at 10 a.m. and immediately following the service we are encouraging you to stick around for a BBQ lunch together out on the deck.
Here are some of the ways that you can help:
Maybe you would like to help with the set-up, cooking, serving and clean-up.  If that is the case, please see Jim S.
Cases of water, pop, juice
Ketchup, Mustard, Relish
Bottles of pickles, hot peppers, mayo
Large family sized bags of chips/munchies
While the BBQ’s are free, a donations jar is put out every week and the donations help us with the food cost.
Thank you to all the MEN, for hosting a wonderful Mother's Day Breakfast!
Closing Words   ... enjoy this reading from Max Lucado's book, Just Like Jesus:

       A Big View of God

Exactly what is worship? I like King David’s definition in Psalm 34:3, “O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.” Worship is the act of magnifying God, enlarging our vision of him, and observing how he works.

Of course his size doesn’t change, but our perception of him does. As we draw nearer, he seems larger. Isn’t that what we need? A big view of God? Don’t we have big problems, big worries, and big questions? Of course we do. Hence, we need a big view of God. Worship offers that. How can we sing, “Holy, Holy, Holy” and not have our vision expanded? How can we sing these words and not have our countenance illuminated? A vibrant, shining face is the mark of one who has stood in God’s presence. God is in the business of changing the face of the world!  Let him begin with yours!

Have a great week!
