MY HOPE 2014 with Billy Graham
For those of you who were not able to attend the seminar this past Saturday, there was an unfortunate delay in the mailing of the DVDs and they are now been mailed.  We hope to have some copies made available very soon.  Thank you!

Christmas Advent Readings
I am looking for families or groups of readers who would each be willing to do one of 5 Advent Readings.  The readings will be for these Sundays-November 30, December 7,14,21 and Christmas Eve.  This Sunday is the first week of Advent and I still need readers for each of the 5 readings.  If you can do a reading, please let me know ASAP and I will get the reading to you.  Thank you!

Niagara Icedogs "Church Night"
Friday, January 16, 2015 at 7 p.m.  Tickets are $15 each

A couple of years ago the owners of the 'Icedogs' were attending a game in Belleville and it happened to be a night where Hockey Ministries International were involved in a ceremonial puck drop and following the game, a former NHL hockey player shared some of his hockey experiences and his faith in Jesus Christ.  The owners told me that when the team moved into their new arena-THE MERIDIAN CENTRE-they would love to host an event like they had experienced in Belleville, here in St. Catharines.

It is about to become a reality early in 2015.  On Friday, January 16th the Icedogs will be hosting the North Bay Battalion.  Former NHLer Mark Osborne will be a special guest that night and will share with those in attendance following the game but there is an added bonus.  From 5 to 6 p.m. if you are a part of the group purchasing tickets for the "Church Night" you can actually go for a skate at the Meridian Centre.

If you are interested in getting tickets, please see the sign up sheet in the foyer.  Churches throughout the Greater Niagara Region will be receiving this invitation and offer.

Please pray for a great night together and for the ministry that will take place through Hockey Ministries International

Update:  It has been really exciting to hear from several churches in the Niagara area that are wanting to be a part of this special night...sign up for your tickets now in the foyers!

Closing Words.. I am sure that you will agree with me when I say that things are only going to get busier as Christmas approaches.  I really need to encourage you to get signed up for the many difference activities that are coming up:

Niagara IceDogs Church Night in January--praying that this will be a great night for all who attend.  Tickets to the game would be a great Christmas gift or stocking stuffer.  I am hoping to order the tickets by December 15th.  Sign up now!

Christmas Family Potluck Dinner--see the sign up sheet in the foyer.  Getting signed up sure makes it easier for those who are hosting the meal.

Don't forget the food barrels--may your gift of food be a 'seed of hope' to those who receive these gifts.

I really do need readers for the remaining Advent Readings.  Please let me know if you can do one of the remaining four readings.

"Calling All Carolers"...you are invited to join our brothers and sisters on Saturday, December 20th for a time of singing at the Fairview Mall...more details to come--very soon!

Have a great week!
Pastor Moe
