Vision Prayer

O God, with all our hearts we long to be:

a movement of churches
transformed by Christ,
transforming Canada and the world.

By your grace and for your glory:

  • Renew and empower us through a fresh encounter with yourself
  • Release us to be strategic in service, kingdom-connected in practice, passionate in pursuit of your mission and mercy

Use us to fulfill your purpose for Canada and the world.

The Noisy Offering

Sunday, January 8th TOTAL:  $329
Please pray for the ministries that these funds will help support.  Pray for Denise Dube and the lives of the girls and women that her ministry is touching.
Next Noisy Offering: Sunday, February 12th

THE PARVEZ FAMILY UPDATE:  It is incredible to think that the Parvez family have been here in St. Catharines for over a year now.  We are so thankful for each of them.  We give thanks to God that William has found full-time employment.  He is currently on a probation period and on April 1st will receive full-time benefits.  PRAISE THE LORD!

Please continue to pray and consider how you might give financially.  The Westburne Alliance Church is official sponsor of this family.  You can give through your offering envelopes by writing 'Refugee Sponsorship' on the line marked 'SPECIAL'. The Board of Elders will be monitoring our sponsorship in these next  6 months to the point where the Parvez family become financially independent.  Thank you for the love that you have extended to them!

Our Adult Bible Class has resumed and is meeting in the church library at 9:30 a.m.  Glenn Birch is leading the class in a study focusing and discussing the 12 disciples/apostles. The study is based on the book The Master and His Men by J Stuart Holden.  Think about someone starting a movement today, especially a movement with a worldwide objective. The first thing necessary is a list of names.  It is His choice of associates (the common man) that we are studying. The class will resume on Sunday, January 22nd.

Men's Breakfast on Saturday, January 21 at 8:30 a.m.
Cost: $5 per person.  Invite a friend to come with you!
Please see the sign-up sheet in the church foyer.

RightNow Media is an online resource for churches to equip, train and inspire people to live out their faith.  It has programs available for all ages.  You can view these programs on your computer, electronic tablets and your smartphones.  Here is something else you need to know:   IT IS TOTALLY FREE TO YOU!!!!

To give rightness Media a try, send an email to and ask for an invitation.

Friday, January 20 at 6:30 p.m. in the Campbell Fellowship Hall

Bring puzzles and snacks!

Thank you for all the food that was given to help produce the Christmas food hampers.
We were able to deliver 5 food hampers to families that are connected to Westburne and we gave 6 full hampers for the Salvation Army to deliver.  There was also a large amount of food that was left over that we were able to give to the Salvation Army.  I know that God is and will use these gifts of food to draw families to Himself.
Closing Words:

A lot of people will ask the question, "Is this all there is to life?".

The answer is "Yes, there's more!"

How would you expand on that?

Have A Great Week!

Pastor Moe
