We will be having the boat parade this year on Friday, July 4th at 3:00pm. We will gather in the bay near the boat landing where our grand marshals, the Gurney's will lead us around the lake. Make sure to decorate your vessels as the best themed boat will become next year's grand marshal!
Our lake is at an all time high and shoreline erosion is on everyone's mind. We are still under a 'no-wake' restriction on the lake so please keep the speeds slow and boats away from the shore.
Lastly, we will have our combined LID and LCIA meeting on Saturday the 5th at the Scandia Valley Town Hall. Social at 8:30, LID meeting at 9:00 and LCIA meeting at 9:45. The LID will go over the current state of the weeds in the lake and the LCIA will show the new 'open house' sign and discuss our ongoing community ideas.
