Our Club came alive with festivity and action from late afternoon on New Years Eve when party revellers started streaming into the Club with their picnic baskets and started to "set up camp" for the evening . We had over 230 supporters at the Club and thanks to ALL OF THOSE who celebrated with us and brought 2017 in with a BIG BANG. Many thanks to Winston Smile for his great music and antics on stage. It was a great party where everyone seemed to be surrounded by lots of friends, laughter and good end of year celebrations.
Thanks to Saffron Chefs for having their A LA CARTE MENU option available for the evening, and also thanks to Carrie Pieterse (Our Club Manager) for doing a fabulous job in keeping it all together. Our Bar & Club Staff did an amazing job once again of serving all the patrons and making sure everyone was happy and in high spirits - it was a great evening and thank you to you all.
2017 is going to be an epic year at the Club so keep reading your newsletter and watch this space for more party details.

The Port Shepstone Country Club will be proudly launching an exclusive and additional LUCKY DRAW prize in January 2017. Potential sponsors are currently being sought after as this opportunity will give them maximum advertising exposure. Should YOU be more interested in finding out more please email me email@example.com
As of THIS MONTH, a new CHESS CLUB will be formed at the Port Shepstone Country Club. It will be called the Port Shepstone Chess Club and will have a weekly get together to play casual chess and a weekly tournament for the more serious players on a weekday evening. If you are interested in joining in the fun, please email your name and cell phone number to firstname.lastname@example.org so that you can be added to a whatsapp group that will inform you when the playing times and tournaments will be. There is no membership fee to join and it is open to anyone who likes to play chess.
Another ever so popular "Fowl Friday" will be taking place on the 31st of March 2017, and I am looking for a sponsor to host this Friday competition. This event is very much like a "mini" Business Day Golf, and you the sponsor, will receive a substantial amount of advertising surrounding this day. You also get to brand your business at the Centre Court at the Club too on the day. For more information on pricing and for more details to secure your sponsorship please contact me direct or email me email@example.com.
And that's a wrap for what happened down at the Club this past weekend, and also what is in the pipeline coming up.
