DECC Parents as Teachers and New Directions Early Head Start Provide Resources to Families in Need

Holidays are a busy time here, as we help ensure families are connected to resources for food, coats, and holiday gifts. We partnered with Toys for Tots and picked up a round of toys for families who signed up for assistance. Other agencies in the community have donated toys for New Directions Early Head Start as well and we are looking forward to delivering some holiday cheer later this month!
Come join our team.

Nurse Family Partnership (NFP) Is Sending Happy Holiday Wishes to Each of You!

Like everyone else in in-home visiting, we are working creatively and diligently to maintain relationships with community partners and with our clients. In 2021, we have had 47 graduates thus far, with six more to graduate by year’s end. There were 78 infants born, including a few sets of twins. None of this would’ve been possible without your support as a community, the support of our agency (Children & Families First), and the entire NFP team. A sincere thank-you to everyone for supporting NFP.
Previous Christina Parents as Teacher Family Pays It Forward to Another Family in Need

A PAT family who graduated from the NCC PAT program reached out to us about giving back to those still in need. So, the day before Thanksgiving, a meal was delivered to a family of four currently in our PAT program. And a single mom with two young children will have a tree full of presents in time for Christmas.
