SUMMER IS OVER!
Celebrating an Epic Inaugural Summer Program
This past summer TLNYC embarked on a new adventure; keeping our students engaged during the summer by providing organizational programming and support. Creating this program was not an easy feat. However, through the support and dedication of TLNYC staff, corporations, community partners, and donors like you, we were able to launch a 7-week summer enrichment program.
Running every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in July and August, we greeted our students with various educational outings, community service projects, seminars, and workshops. With the specific purpose of teaching self-love, respect, determination, and community involvement, our students learned that a leader's true calling is to make a positive change wherever they are. From workshops on social issues in their communities to various education outings, our students left the summer inspired to work hard, follow their dreams, and create change.
