PANTHER CARD SALES
Panther Card sales have started and run through 11/20. Support your favorite 6th grader by purchasing a Panther Card. Each card is $10 and provides discounts to local businesses. If you have any questions about Panther Card sales, please contact Christine Moore at moorechristine803@gmail.com

SAVE THE DATE
Breakfast with Santa Date: Saturday, December 2nd
Where: PVS Cafetorium
There will be two seating times, 8:30 am and 10:30 am.

Bring the family and have breakfast with Santa . It's great fun for everyone! Breakfast includes muffins and donuts , yogurt and fruit, pancakes and breakfast sausage, as well as coffee ,tea and juice. There will be activities and face painting for everyone in attendance. Don't forget your camera for your FREE picture with Santa.

Online registration for this event will begin November 6th . This event sells out every year.

HOLIDAY SHOP
The Holiday Shop will be back this year at HTS from December 11-15. Watch your child's backpack for the class shopping schedule. 

You are welcome and encouraged to come shop with your child. We will also have adults on hand to help as needed. If you would like to volunteer at the shop, please sign up on the PTA website. It is a ton of fun!
 

We are asking each family to commit to 100 Box Tops to help us reach this goal.  Clipping Box Tops is easy and they are found on 100’s of products from General Mills, Betty Crocker, Pillsbury, Ziplock and Kleenex.

If you would like to volunteer to clip & count Box Tops, please email BoxTops@HarristonPTA.org, and stay tuned for volunteer opportunities to be posted on the PTA's Facebook page! Thanks for your support!

Our school Library uses parent volunteers (and grandparents, aunts or uncles, etc.) every day to help the children check out and return books. No experience is necessary! You can help as little as one hour a week or as much as a full morning or afternoon. Please contact Mrs. Malloy at malloyme@harrisontwp.k12.nj.us for more information or to volunteer.

HELP WANTED AT THE PVS LIBRARY MEDIA CENTER
The Media Center is a very busy place! Mrs. Lewin is looking for help in two areas - Organizers and Technical Assistants. Training in BOTH areas will be provided. Please contact Kathy Lewin, PVS Library Media Specialist for more information or to volunteer, at lewink@harrisontwp.k12.nj.us More information will also be coming home via backpack mail.

DONATION BOX
The PTA is trying something new this year! 
We have placed a Donation Box in the main office of both schools. If at any time you would like to make a donation, download the “Donation Box" form from the PTA website and place it in the Donation Box with your donation.

Please know that the donations are a fundraiser with all proceeds going to the students AND the donations are tax-deductible. **The donation box is not to taking the place of any classroom donations and donations are completely voluntary!

PTA MEMBERSHIP
Did you know the PTA funds the school assemblies, purchases educational subscriptions, sponsors the class picnics, and makes annual donations to the schools? Not sure what it means to be a PTA member? By being a member you help fund these activities and demonstrate your support to our PTA and all of its volunteers. Membership is $12

PTA MEETINGS
During PTA meetings decisions are made and news is announced that can directly affect programs and events at Harrison Township Schools.  All meetings are open to the General Membership and are held in the Gymnasium at HTS and in the Cafetorium at PVS, unless noted otherwise.  The meetings generally begin at 7:00 p.m. and will last approximately 45 minutes.  We strongly encourage all members of the General Membership to attend these meetings.
