The Book Fair is a reading event that provides students with the opportunity to browse all of the titles and choose the books they want to read; thus, building literacy confidence—the ability to read, write, and speak about what they know, how they feel, and who they are.  Nine out of ten kids are more likely to finish a book they choose for themselves.  The Book Fair will provide them with a selection of new and favorite authors, popular series, cool posters and school supplies.

Forms of Payment: Cash, credit card or check are accepted.  If you are not able to shop with your student, please discuss any special requests with them (no posters, a book you can read, etc.) and a Book Fair Volunteer will be happy to help them shop.

Monday - Friday 10/23 - 10/30
Evening hours Wednesday 10/25 6:00pm - 8:00pm

If you have general questions regarding the Book Fair at HTS, please contact here for more information on the HTS Book Fair .

We have placed a Donation Box in the main office of both schools. If at any time you would like to make a donation, download the “Donation Box" form from the PTA website and place it in the Donation Box with your donation.

Please know that the donations are a fundraiser with all proceeds going to the students AND the donations are tax-deductible. **The donation box is not to taking the place of any classroom donations and donations are completely voluntary!

Please send clipped & unexpired Box Tops into school bagged in counts of 50, labeled with your child’s name, teacher name and the number of Box Tops on the outside of the bag/envelope, if possible.

Pre-counting and sorting the Box Tops makes it so much easier for our volunteers when prepping the Box Tops to be sent into the program for redemption.

We are asking each family to commit to 100 Box Tops to help us reach this goal.  Clipping Box Tops is easy and they are found on 100’s of products from General Mills, Betty Crocker, Pillsbury, Ziplock and Kleenex.

For questions or if you are willing to assist with clipping & counting, please email BoxTops@HarrisonPTA.orgor stay tuned for volunteer opportunities to be posted on the Harrison PTA Facebook page.

Please contact Kathy Lewin, PVS Library Media Specialist for more information or to volunteer, at More information will also be coming home via backpack mail.
