THANK YOU - COFFEE WITH PTA
Thanks to everyone who came out to our first “Coffee with the PTA” general meeting this past week.  We shared a lot of great ideas, coffee and sweet treats.  Admittedly, I ate way too many cookies!  A special thank you goes to  Kathy Chiominto our food Service Director for catering our event and to Alexis Ofchinick for bringing her homemade cookies and pastries.

Delicious!

HOLIDAY SHOP
The Holiday Shop will be back this year at HTS from December 11-15. Watch your child's backpack for the class shopping schedule.

You are welcome and encouraged to come shop with your child. We will also have adults on hand to help as needed. If you would like to volunteer at the shop, please sign up on the PTA website. It is a ton of fun!

SKATING PARTY RECAP
Thank you to all that came out for the Halloween Skating Party!  It was a lot of fun and the costumes were great!  Our winner for the best boy costume was the Boy with his Head in a Jar, Luke Moore, and the winner for the best girl costume was Purple Lego Batwoman, Larkin Denton!  They each won tickets to come back and skate free with their families!  Thank you to Danielle Salario for our online tickets and the Deptford Skating Center for hosting our event!

BOX TOPS
Please send clipped & unexpired Box Tops into school bagged in counts of 50, labeled with your child’s name, teacher name and the number of Box Tops on the outside of the bag/envelope, if possible.

Pre-counting and sorting the Box Tops makes it so much easier for our volunteers when prepping the Box Tops to be sent into the program for redemption.

We are asking each family to commit to 100 Box Tops to help us reach this goal.  Clipping Box Tops is easy and they are found on 100’s of products from General Mills, Betty Crocker, Pillsbury, Ziplock and Kleenex.

If you would like to volunteer to clip & count Box Tops, please email BoxTops@HarristonPTA.org, and stay tuned for volunteer opportunities to be posted on the PTA's Facebook page! Thanks for your support.

DONATION BOX
The PTA is trying something new this year!
We have placed a Donation Box in the main office of both schools. If at any time you would like to make a donation, download the “Donation Box" form from the PTA website and place it in the Donation Box with your donation.

Please know that the donations are a fundraiser with all proceeds going to the students AND the donations are tax-deductible. **The donation box is not to taking the place of any classroom donations and donations are completely voluntary!

PTA MEMBERSHIP
Did you know the PTA funds the school assemblies, purchases educational subscriptions, sponsors the class picnics, and makes annual donations to the schools? Not sure what it means to be a PTA member? By being a member you help fund these activities and demonstrate your support to our PTA and all of its volunteers. Membership is $12

PTA MEETINGS
During PTA meetings decisions are made and news is announced that can directly affect programs and events at Harrison Township Schools.  All meetings are open to the General Membership and are held in the Gymnasium at HTS and in the Cafetorium at PVS, unless noted otherwise.  The meetings generally begin at 7:00 p.m. and will last approximately 45 minutes.  We strongly encourage all members of the General Membership to attend these meetings.
