Father-Daughter Winter Ball
We are excited to announce our fourth annual Father Daughter Dance - Fundraising Event!
Calling all Princesses that attend Harrison Township Elementary and Pleasant Valley School are invited to attend with their Prince or Knight.
This year's "Winter Ball" will take place on Saturday, January 20, 2018. The event will run from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be provided and a photographer will be on-site for photos.
The cost of this event is $30.00 for one princess and her chaperone, $10.00 for second princess and $5.00 for each additional princess attending.
Tickets will be available, on a first come, first served basis and online only, on the PTA website starting December 11, 2017. This event is expected to sell out and tickets will not be sold after the deadline.

Thank you to those of you that have already starting sending in Box Tops so far this year! Our first submission is being sent to the Box Tops program, and our school will be receiving a check for over $2,000 already, including the remaining Box Tops submitted at the end of the 2016-2017 school year. As you can see, Box Tops does collect a significant amount of money for our PTA, and we couldn't do it without your help!!
As a reminder, I'm so grateful when the Box Tops are sent in to school already clipped, counted & bag in sets of 50. It makes sorting them so much less time consuming for me and our volunteers. Therefore, please send unexpired Box Tops, in groups of 50, with the bag or envelope clearly marked with the number of Box Tops, your child's name, teacher, and grade.
The Box Tops contest is underway, and one classroom at both HTS and PVS with the highest Box Tops total during the school year will win an ice-cream party in the spring!!

The PTA is trying something new this year!
We have placed a Donation Box in the main office of both schools. If at any time you would like to make a donation, download the “Donation Box" form from the PTA website and place it in the Donation Box with your donation.
Please know that the donations are a fundraiser with all proceeds going to the students AND the donations are tax-deductible. **The donation box is not to taking the place of any classroom donations and donations are completely voluntary!
Did you know the PTA funds the school assemblies, purchases educational subscriptions, sponsors the class picnics, and makes annual donations to the schools? Not sure what it means to be a PTA member? By being a member you help fund these activities and demonstrate your support to our PTA and all of its volunteers. Membership is $12
During PTA meetings decisions are made and news is announced that can directly affect programs and events at Harrison Township Schools. All meetings are open to the General Membership and are held in the Gymnasium at HTS and in the Cafetorium at PVS, unless noted otherwise. The meetings generally begin at 7:00 p.m. and will last approximately 45 minutes. We strongly encourage all members of the General Membership to attend these meetings.
