Congratulations to Professor Claire Goodman and Professor Simon Baron-Cohen!

 

We are very pleased and proud to announce that two CLAHRC EoE researchers have received NIHR Senior Investigator Awards.

Claire Goodman (CLAHRC EoE Deputy Director) is Professor of Health Care Research at the University of Hertfordshire. Her research focuses on the oldest old and how primary health care works with social care and long term care providers to support this population.

Simon Baron-Cohen (CLAHRC EoE Principal Investigator) is Professor of Developmental Psychopathology at the University of Cambridge, and the Director of the Autism Research Centre (ARC) in Cambridge. He is world renowned for his work in Autism.

Health Enterprise East Innovation Competition

Closing date: Friday 15 April at 5:00pm.

Health Enterprise East (HEE) are providers of technology advisory and innovation management services to the NHS. HEE have £12,500 worth of prize money and are looking for colleagues to submit innovative new ideas for products and services which will benefit patients and healthcare delivery.

A Systems Approach to Safer Care Pathways

NHS Workforce Development: Meeting Health Needs

This conference (hosted by Open Forum Events) will explore how workforce planning and transformation can enhance patient care and be the key driver to the financial future of the NHS. It includes practical sessions for sharing good practice and provides good networking opportunities.

Public Health England Annual Conference 2016

13-14 September 2016

University of Warwick

‘Evidence into action’ is the theme of this year’s Public Health England conference, which will promote and showcase the application and translation of science and research, to support effective local and national action to improve public health.

Abstract submissions for work demonstrating evidence into practice are invited, the deadline for which is the 6th May.
