CLAHRC East of England Showcase: Demonstrating impact on services and policy

The event will focus on the impact CLAHRC makes through high quality applied health research and vital capacity building across the region.
To find out more about how CLAHRC research is translating into practice, join us on what promises to be an informative and engaging day, celebrating and demonstrating the impact of CLAHRC EoE.
The NIHR is marking International Clinical Trials Day (ICTD) on 20 May for the third year running. The ‘Ok to ask’ campaign calls on patients and carers to ask their doctor about NHS research they can take part in.
Expert guest panellists will be available each week to answer any research related questions people ask of them. The following specialty areas will be covered:
Stroke (Wednesday 29 April, 8-9pm)
Dementias and neurodegeneration (Wednesday 6 May, 8-9pm)
CLAHRC EOE call for next round of applied health project funding
The call is for all of CLAHRC EoE’s partnering organisations who are interested in developing and submitting an Applied Health Research proposal for funding starting April 2016.

CLAHRC EoE Capacity Building Workshop

CLAHRC EoE are holding a Capacity Building Workshop, on Tuesday 7th July in Norwich. The day is an opportunity to learn more about the opportunities CLAHRC EoE can offer health professionals and academics looking to develop their research career.
