ESRC Festival of Social Science short report

On 5th November 2016, A PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT EVENT “High-Tech Dementia: Transforming Care and Homes”, was held at the University of East Anglia’s Norwich Electronic Assistive Technology (NEAT) Suite as part of the Economic and Social Research Council’s (ESRC) 14th Annual Festival of Social Sciences, organised by Matthew Lariviere from the School of Health Sciences.

Supporting children exposed to domestic violence: call for stronger evidence base

Call for stronger evidence to support children exposed to domestic violence.

An evidence synthesis on improving outcomes for children exposed to domestic violence. Services for children who are exposed to domestic violence and abuse are vital, but NIHR-funded researchers have found that there is little evidence for what support works best.

Challenges Faced by Adults with Autism Spectrum Conditions Identified by ‘Mental Health Champions’ Video Series

In partnership with a steering group of adults with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASCs) who have experienced mental health problems and suicidal thoughts and behaviours, a video series has been created that explores some of the challenges faced.
