CLAHRC EoE Fellows Showcase Programme now on CLAHRC website


The programme for the 1 December CLAHRC EoE Fellows Showcase event can now be viewed on our website, along with registration details. 

Make sure to sign up as soon as possible as registration for the event will close on the 23 November.

 Imaginator study


This study in the Cambridge and Huntingdon areas involves trialing a new intervention to support young people to reduce self-harm. ​The Emotional Disorders and Mental Imagery group in the MRC Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit are looking for volunteers aged 16-25 in the Cambridge and Huntingdon areas to participate in a study testing a new therapy and using the Imaginator smartphone app to help reduce self-harm.
 
The study involves:
  • a screening assessment
  • two therapy sessions and phone support for three months
  • using a smartphone app Imaginator
  • completing questionnaires online

What is Market Shaping?


London Evening Seminar


Thursday 10 November 2016

In this free seminar Fiona Richardson Assistant Director Institute of Public Care, Oxford Brookes University. will report on the findings of the review and answer the key question ‘what is market shaping?’. She will also explore some of the main challenges for local authority commissioners, and reflect on the implications for public care more widely.

The NIHR will be hosting a live one hour webinar about the HEE/NIHR Integrated Clinical Academic (ICA) Programme

 

Tuesday 10 November

The HEE/NIHR ICA Programme webinar will be presented by Peter Thompson, Assistant Director at the NIHR Trainees Coordinating Centre alongside current ICA trainee and Senior Research Sister Joanne Bird. As this is a live webinar, attendees will be able to type questions directly to the speakers and get their specific questions about the programme answered.
